Improve your knowledge of algorithms to the level appropriate for GCSE teaching. Become confident in using the key building blocks of sequence, selection and iteration, and learn to apply algorithmic thinking.
How will you learn?
- Scheduled live, interactive online sessions led by an experienced practitioner
- Flexible facilitator-supported, participant-led tasks, involving deep exploration of the subject content
- Hands-on programming using popular, free online tools
Course Timings:
This course is approximately 5 hours in duration, split across several days:
Session 1: Monday 6th July, 1300-1400
Session 2: Wednesday 8th July, 1300-1345
Session 3: Friday 10th July, 1300-1430

Course Fee: Free to attend - this course is fully funded for teachers from state-funded schools
Bursary: Secondary teachers working in state-funded education are eligible for a bursary of £920, paid to your school or college, on completion of the Computer Science Accelerator programme
