As an alliance of schools we are committed to a system of school led self-improvement. We strongly believe that the best way to raise aspirations and improve outcomes is to work collaboratively. Through providing a balance of support and challenge we work with schools to focus on how they can continually improve their practice.
Our Alliance Partners are experienced with a high level of expertise in leading school improvement. Uffculme School, the lead school within the alliance has a well-established track record for system leadership and school-to-school support. The Headteacher, Lorraine Heath, is a both a National Leader of Education and a member of the South West regional Headteacher Board where she works on the Academies programme for the region
Our offer
The school support offer is led by our NLEs who broker the bespoke expertise required. Dependent on requirements, the Alliance will then oversee the deployment of National Leaders of Education (NLEs), Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) and Lead Professionals who are trained in outreach guidance to support schools on their journey to improvement. For more information please see the Packages of Support we offer.
